User Research Training & Design Thinking Workshops
Project Type:
Trainings & Workshops
Leading design thinking workshops and user research trainings across multidisciplinary teams is work that I particularly enjoy! It involves translating various methodologies into empowering skillsets while fostering collaborative problem-solving cultures. I aim to make my trainings and workshops not just teach methods, but also foster shared language and processes that transform how teams approach internal system and user-centered challenges.

Facilitation Approach & Impact
Collaborative Problem-Solving Workshops
Design thinking workshops serve as catalysts for breaking down silos and generating innovative solutions to pressing organizational challenges. By facilitating structured brainstorming, rapid prototyping, and iterative testing sessions, these workshops help diverse stakeholders, from technical specialists to executives, collaborate effectively on complex problems. The key is creating safe spaces for ideation and experimentation while maintaining focus on actionable outcomes that teams can implement immediately.
Capacity Building Through Training
Perhaps more impactful than solving individual problems is building organizational capacity for ongoing user-centered thinking. My approach to training combines theoretical frameworks with hands-on application, ensuring participants don't just learn research methods but develop tangible experiences applying them independently. Recently, I led a multi-month user research training series where cross-functional teams to teach research methodologies while conducting an actual study focused on older adults' needs and preferences. This approach equipped participants with both specific insights about this demographic and transferable research skills they could apply to any user group, ensuring organizations gain immediate value while building internal capacity for ongoing user-centered design.
